Hi, Folks!

Benita and I are in Chicago, and in a few hours we’ll set up for the Wizard World Convention.  Last night, we went to Medieval Times, and we had a great time.

Benita and I both love history, and I even have a degree in Medieval history, so this place was a lot of fun.  We weren’t there to judge it on its historical accuracy, mind you, but rather to have a good time.

The show was very interesting, and it was a play centered around political intrigue and a tournament.  The Andalusian horses were outstanding, very talented and beautiful; and the athletic prowess of the young men who played the knights was very impressive.

We got dinner as the show unfolded, and that consisted of tomato soup, garlic bread, roasted chicken, ribs, a potato half, and a pastry.

Tonight is Preview Night at the comic convention, and it runs from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, and meeting new friends.

Scott.
