Oooh, upcoming superhero FIGHT SCENE! I’m glad you didn’t do any of the “silly misunderstanding”-type hero vs. hero fights Scott. The way the scene’s been set up, when Utopian swings on Tom most of the audience will agree he had it coming (including me).
Guess we’ll find out if Tom is really as tough as he acts.

Maybe the Elect has a hidden deviously conniving side to him. He manages to keep his son from being (fired? suspended? expelled?) and replaces him with a sexist, possibly homophobic, badly dressed megalomaniac. Just let him tick everybody off and then quietly put the Utopian back in charge and sending Titanium Tom to some far away place to avoid the inevitable lawsuit.
Elect can legitimately tell the government that his hands were clean and that Utopian is the best person to hold the Squadron together until a suitable replacement can be found.
Or maybe I'm just crazy.
