I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, I have a hard time thinking that Tom is going to be nice to Triops. He hasn't been decent to anyone else here.
And not even remotely human, did his parents get stranded on earth or just drop him off to grow up?
This is a comic–the other shoe is always going to drop!
I don't want to give away too much, because it deserves more attention later, but if Gray aliens are here, then it's pretty well established that they have been hear for thousands of years. So, effectively, Triop's "parents" are as native to earth at this point as humans are.
Grays, and assorted crafts and "saucers," have been found in the art of many ancient sites, painted on cave walls.
How old is Triops? He seem naive but well spoken so it is hard to read shrimp alien man. I think you just told us that there is an underwater colony of triops people….put there by Johnny Saturn clones. I have always liked the little things that have become standard practices in comic books because each artist or writers take on them is very varied. I like that your Trophy room looks more like a modern museum than a dungeon where every thing is still feared.
Just an after thought… Is Triops SUPPOSED to be dressed reminiscent of Charlie Brown? Or was that accidental (as I tend to think that in art, there are no accidents)?
To me it says that he's not as bad as people may think he is, that deep down, he's really a good person who perhaps just fell in with the wrong crowd, or didn't realise he had a choice. Am I close?

Edit: I can't get "Reply" to post, so I used a new comment instead.
Basically Triops fell in with the wrong crowd and couldn't escape. Tactical knew how much his powers were worth and kept a pretty tight level of security on him. When Triops "contacedt' Greg to come and get him, Tactical sent in his three goons to kill him. Triops' powers would "inconvenient" if used against him. Even in Tom's "care", Triops is much better off.

Wow… Shrimp people. Didn't see THAT coming!
Well, at least a lone shrimp person.

It was purposeful. It says a lot about Triops, I think.

Or maybe it just means he's doomed to always lose baseball games!
Ah… That makes things much clearer! Thanks!
