Well in TT's defense, who could have expected a flying "Return of the Jedi" prop armed with cruise missiles.

From some of the scenes it looks like the Squadron Premiere HQ is set back away from the streets with flat, unobstructed ground between it and the streets.

And one would expect that, since it is basically a large coed dorm for superpowered beings, it would be built to a much stricter code. I mean, one would want to proof the building against known threats, such as tornadoes, storms, earthquakes, domestic disturbances between supers, the "human torch" having a night-terror etc. Cruise missiles are rather far down the list, especially in the Mid-West.

No comment on whether Staff of Life shows up. It would be great for the good guys if she did, because she arguably the most powerful superhero in Spire City.

I can imagine a scenario where they fast-track some foreign superheroes for American citizenship. I can also imaging Titanium Tom bringing in a bunch of chronies from back east.

Close. Pummel Horse is djinn, and Quadrophonic was a scientist who had an experiment go bad, a' la "The Fly." We always joked that his dating life really picked up after he got turned into a giant four-armed winged frog.

Quadrophonic was a djinn right? I guess a bar through the heart kills most anything. That sucks they have really taken a hard hit!

I hope Hyperspace is alright but it doesn't look good.

They could still "relax" the rules as to whome gets allowed back in. Certainly seems enough potentials we're dismissed when Tom took over. He did offer Staff of Light a position even though she's technically wasnt eligible.

That reminds me.....is she gonna show up ? From that bank robber aftermath it seemed like Tactical feared her the most.

Their defenses were minimal, unfortanately. They were like all the public govt. buildings before 911, and it took an unprecedented disaster to make them add security, metal detectors, car-blocking cement pylons, etc.

I don't think the builders even considered the possibility of a direct attack on a superhero meeting hall.

As you can imagine, this ends their day of innocence. That's assuming, of course, that enough squad members survive to even have a Squadron Premiere anymore.

Oh that had to hurt, getting run thru or having a building dropped on you isn't a good thing.

And yeah things will get very ugly before it calms down I would guess.

Only thing missing from Quadrophonic and Seth are red shirts.

And I agree that it seems the squadron was oddly unprepared for an attack on their base. At the very least, shouldn't they have some shields or defensive weapons? Clearly someone more paranoid needs to update their base's defenses.
