I don’t think that’s him winking. I think its shadow.
And while the spin machine may be in overdrive, looks to me that Gauge, Triops, and Torchsong are the only members able to fight, and Saturn’s going to need a couple weeks downtime to heal up his arm.
I love the book…..Though the colors for the text in the photos does not play well for net viewing at this size. The blue text is very hard to read against the brown background you have for the pictures.
Other than that I look forward to seeing where the story is going….Especially now that the battle is finished and the aftermath is just now starting.
Another well done installment, Scott. Good thing the Iron Brigade took worse casualties, ’cause the Squadron is in no shape to take another major assault for the foreseeable future. For that matter, let’s hope there aren’t any other major supervillian groups in or near Spire City watching that broadcast…
Well let’s not forget that only Iron Brigade’s first string got mauled, there is still a whole bunch of “villains of the week” back at the “Fortress of Iron” or whatever Tactical calls his hideout. I expect that Gauge, Triops and Torchsong are going to have their hands full.
Indeed. And since a lot of the Iron Brigade’s first stringers are down for the count (or dead, in the case of Alaric), those no-namers are going to be stirring up trouble, looking to break into the big time.
I also think now would be a perfect time for Symphony and Thule to show up again.
Amazing artwork and story-telling as always, Scott! But it kind of looks like there’s something weird going on with Gauge’s stomach…it almost looks like it has a hole through it.
Did Gauge intentionally choose a picture of Johnny winking?

Yeah, its Gauge, Triops, and Torchsong at the moment. I expect everyone but Barometer will come back, though.

Thanks, Seamus! Now that you mention it, I’m starting to agree with you on that blue over brown thing.

This could lead to a lot of interesting events…

Still, wish I had an iota of your artistic skills
I think that’s just a shadow.
Yeah, shadow under her thoracic, um, thingy… But, I’m taking note of your comment for when I collect this for printing!
Thanks Firebug and Mirikon!
